Position Purpose:

The Account Manager works to effectively manage and renew current policies for Galyean Insurance Agency and quotes new business if a producer is unavailable. Additionally, the Account Manager works to develop existing accounts with additional lines of business and increased coverage

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient in English (spoken and written); bilingual skills are a plus.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in related field, or a combination of education and experience.

• Ability to respond to requests with tact, diplomacy, and a sense of urgency.

• Ability to offer Galyean’s products and services

• Ability to operate basic office equipment including a PC with job-related software.

• Effective communication skills, organization skills, and ability to handle job duties effectively and efficiently.

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, and kneel; and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be personable, energetic, and outgoing.

• Must present a professional appearance.

• Must be able to multi-task.

• Must work well in a hectic environment.

• Must be able to deal with complex situations proactively and professionally.

• Actively sell and cross-sell insurance products and services.

• Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service.

• Promotes Galyean’s culture through all interactions modeling the Alliance Bank Way of Customer Experience.

• Must hold proper licensure with the State of Texas.
